Orlando area company is looking for a Controller. Responsibilities of the Controller will include, but not limited to the following

Manage month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting
Oversee general ledger activities, maintaining accurate and organized records
Lead financial statement audits and collaborate with external auditors to meet compliance standards
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting principles
Analyze financial reports and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
Monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and improve operational efficiency
Collaborate with other departments to align financial practices with organizational goals
Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation.
