Job Description:
Seeking a Divisional Controller within Construction. Serve as the strategic finance business partner to divisional leadership, providing financial guidance to drive profitability, growth, and operational success. Oversee project financial performance, including WIP reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, cost-to-complete analysis, and revenue recognition. Partner with various departments such as Legal, Project Management as well as the operational units / teams to evaluate contracts, manage risk, ensure compliance, and protect lien rights. Establish and enforce financial controls, policies, and processes that support strong governance, accurate reporting, and effective risk management. Lead project funding due diligence, credit assessments, and financial reviews to support sound business decisions and minimize exposure. Develop key relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders while overseeing audits, tax compliance, and external financial reporting. Lead, mentor, and develop finance staff, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement across the division and broader finance organization.
