Job DescriptionJob Description The Opportunity Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will own the day-to-day financial operations of TTi Logistics. This is a foundational role in building TTi's finance infrastructure, responsible for a reliable close process, accurate financial reporting, and the operational discipline that supports the company's value creation plan. The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance professional who thrives in a growth-stage, fast paced environment and is energized by building processes, developing teams, and delivering results. Key Responsibilities
- Own the month-end close process, full reconciliations and accurate financial statements consistently delivered on time every month
- Produce monthly consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements across all operating entities
- Manage multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations across TTi's national operations
- Manage and develop the accounting team AR, AP, and staff accountants
- Build and maintain a rolling 13-week cash forecast in partnership with the CFO
- Own AR aging management and collections discipline, driving working capital improvement across the business
- Manage AP processes, carrier, agent, and vendor payment cycles and DPO management
- Develop job-level margin reporting to provide visibility into profitability by service line and customer
- Design and maintain internal controls over financial reporting, ensure segregation of duties and audit readiness
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, document accounting policies and ensure consistent application
- Manage multi-state compliance across sales tax, payroll tax, and regulatory reporting
- Support the CFO in preparing monthly board packages and reporting
- Coordinate external audit and tax preparation with outside advisors
- Drive process improvement and automation to improve team efficiency and reporting quality Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience and leadership
- Minimum 3 years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution strongly preferred
- Multi-entity and multi-state accounting experience preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise
- Proven month-end close ownership and management
- Experience managing teams
- Internal controls design and audit readiness experience
- Proficiency in accounting systems: QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
- TMS integration experience a plus
- Familiarity and experience with AI tools for financial reporting, forecasting, or workflow automation, a plus
