Job Description
Controller The Controller is responsible for supervising all staff in the Accounting and Reimbursement Departments. This position also has the ultimate responsibility to insure that all Accounting Policy Guides are being followed and that all financial related reporting deadlines are met. Coordination of annual external audit and all internal audit inquires. Review and refinement of systems to insure that proper accounting controls exist. Ensures that discrepancies are worked timely and that payment calculators are accurate. Oversees the preparation of net revenue, cost accounting and other reimbursement related reports as requested. Responsible for overseeing the annual budget preparation and the monthly closing process. Assists CFO on special projects as required. Qualifications What qualifications you will need: Bachelors Degree required; Post graduate degree preferred CPA preferred Accounting experience in a healthcare setting or industry is highly required. Candidate must have experience in full cycle accounting, especially in month end close, financial statement preparation. This is NOT negotiable. Strong and proven leadership skills are essential.
