Job Description
Experteer Overview In this role you lead cross‑team analytics, risk, back-testing, and portfolio construction programs within PMG, acting as the subject‑matter expert to drive measurable outcomes. You will mentor the team, coordinate strategic initiatives, and apply quantitative plus qualitative methods to advance Fisher's client investment goals. You'll partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, and other PMG teams to implement innovative solutions at scale. Your work shapes production rollout and long‑term strategy in portfolio management.
Compensation / Benefits
- Provide leadership and SME for cross‑team programs in analytics, risk management, back‑testing, and portfolio construction/automation
- Manage prioritized programs ensuring delivery of measurable outcomes and value
- Support strategic innovation by evaluating needs, solutions, and program implementations
- Maintain relationships with key partners across business units and vendors
- Create and oversee training materials for teams and other business units
- Coach and mentor team members on program knowledge and products
- Identify and track metrics to evaluate success and identify improvements
- Prioritize feature enhancements with partner vendors that impact solution quality
- Organize research and testing to guide production rollout and strategy optimization
- Contribute to employee education on recommended solutions during rollout and production
- Lead change and transition management within your team and across PMG Tasks
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of hands‑on optimization technology experience
- Proven ability to lead and develop investment/portfolio programs using quantitative analytics
- Strong ability to elicit cooperation from senior management, internal clients, and other departments with excellent communication
- Ability to design effective solutions from identified needs
- Experience working both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Quick adaptability to shifting priorities and timelines with strong analytical/problem‑solving skills
- Experience with portfolio construction tools such as Axioma, Barra, and/or FactSet Key requirements
