This is not an entry-level accounting position. This is not a general office admin role. We are looking for someone who has already worked inside a franchised new car dealership accounting office and understands the pace, pressure, deadlines, schedules, and details that come with it. We work hard, move fast, hold people accountable, and still know how to have fun. The right person will be organized, accurate, dependable, and comfortable leading an office while working closely with ownership, general managers, department managers, accounting staff, and dealership leadership.

You must have:

Experience as an Office Manager, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller in a new car dealership Strong working knowledge of CDK Experience with month-end close Experience reviewing and maintaining accounting schedules Knowledge of dealership accounting, deal posting, schedules, receivables, payables, floorplan, inventory, warranty, and accounting controls Ability to lead, train, and support office staff Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to work with managers, not against them A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to keep things moving Responsibilities may include: Overseeing daily accounting office operations Managing month-end close and financial statement preparation support Reviewing schedules and cleaning up accounting issues Supporting deal flow, funding, inventory, floorplan, warranty, AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activity Working with dealership managers to keep accounting accurate and timely Helping build strong processes and accountability within the office Maintaining compliance, accuracy, and strong internal controls What we offer: Strong, established automotive group Professional dealership environment Opportunity to be part of a hard-working but enjoyable team Competitive pay based on proven dealership experience Immediate consideration for qualified candidates A place where the right person can make a real impact
