Plant Controller

We are engaged in a search for a Plant Controller with a growing manufacturing organization supporting recycling operations. This position will partner closely with executive leadership and play a key role in financial reporting, operational finance, compliance and plant accounting activities.

Responsibilities include:

Lead FP&A activities, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Perform month end and year end close processes Analyze GL activity and investigate financial variances against budget and prior periods Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain subsidiary ledgers Support internal and external audit activities including SOX compliance Prepare monthly cash flow reporting and executive level financial presentations Assist with implementation and improvement of accounting procedures, systems and internal controls Track KPIs and identify operational and financial trends Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules and lease accounting activities Support special projects, operational initiatives and cross functional finance activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience Manufacturing finance experience required SOX compliance experience required Strong Excel skills required SAP experience preferred Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
