Controller

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTRC's client, a growing cold storage and logistics company, is hiring a Controller to lead accounting operations and support continued expansion.

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role with full ownership of the accounting function. You'll partner directly with the CFO while helping scale the team, build processes, and strengthen financial reporting as the business grows. Hybrid in Dunwoody What you'll do:

Own the full month-end close and general ledger (JEs, reconciliations, analysis) Lead preparation of financial statements and management reporting with clear variance insights Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with GAAP Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Lead year-end audit and serve as primary contact for external auditors Oversee fixed assets, tax support, and compliance reporting Manage ERP system (NetSuite a plus) and improve processes/controls Support banking activities and cash visibility Build and develop the accounting team (including AR/AP) Partner with leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives What we're looking for:

Bachelor's in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred) ~5+ years of progressive accounting experience (leadership or ownership mindset is key) Strong GAAP, financial reporting, and close process expertise Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance Comfortable in a hands-on, build-and-scale environment ERP experience (NetSuite a plus)This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to own the accounting function, build a team, and grow with a scaling organization.
