Job Description

Position Overview A well-established, industry-leading organization is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support strategic financial initiatives. This role reports directly to executive leadership and plays a critical part in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement efforts. This is a fully on-site position based in Kahului, Hawaii. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available. Relocation assistance is not provided. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting operations and financial reporting
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support and execute special financial and operational projects
  • Drive process improvements and workflow efficiencies
  • Analyze financial data and present clear, actionable insights
  • Supervise and develop accounting team members Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management capability Core Competencies
  • Strong technical accounting and financial acumen
  • Ability to quickly assess and improve processes
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • High level of organization and prioritization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a customer-service orientation
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Technologically proficient with ability to support system implementations Additional Considerations
  • Preference may be given to candidates currently residing in Maui, Hawaii
