Job Description

Corporate Controller Honolulu, Hawaii $150,000 - $180,000 + Outstanding Benefits Aloha! A respected Hawaii-based organization is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to join its leadership team. This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role with responsibility for financial reporting, month-end close, audit coordination, internal controls, budgeting support, and accounting operations. The Controller will partner closely with senior leadership while helping drive financial accuracy, compliance, process improvements, and team development. We're looking for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution and takes pride in building strong teams and reliable financial processes. What You'll Do Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements and management reports Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and accounting operations Coordinate external audits and serve as a primary audit liaison Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning activities Strengthen internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities Partner with leadership on financial analysis and business decisions Mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, and corporate policies What We're Looking For CPA designation required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field Public accounting and/or corporate accounting leadership experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience managing month-end close and audit processes Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Experience with SAP strongly preferred Experience within energy, manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or similarly complex operational environments is highly desirable Why Consider This Opportunity?
