Director of Finance

Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, reports, and analysis in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Manage all aspects of accounting, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow analysis. Lead risk analysis initiatives to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for governmental agencies and other stakeholders. Supervise treasury management activities such as investment management, liquidity planning, and cost control measures. Provide strategic guidance on financial concepts such as profit & loss management, revenue recognition, and cost management to support organizational growth. Requirements Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles with a strong background in corporate finance and accounting. Extensive knowledge of GAAP and regulatory frameworks relevant to accounting environments. Demonstrated expertise in risk management, fiscal management, and financial analysis with a focus on strategic planning. Proficiency in financial software systems and technical accounting tools for accurate report writing and interpretation. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes. Excellent communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and presenting complex data clearly to stakeholders.
