About the Role Accounting plays a vital role in our organization's success. We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to support a variety of accounting functions while helping our operating divisions achieve their financial and operational goals. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a stable, family-owned company that values professional development, meaningful responsibility, and long-term career growth. Responsibilities + Assist with oversight of the accounting department and support daily accounting operations + Manage accounts receivable invoicing and collections activities + Oversee weekly payroll processing for field employees + Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records + Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis + Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities + Support job cost analysis and construction-related financial reporting + Manage fixed asset records and corporate insurance administration Requirements Keys + Accounting degree is a requirement. Finance degree he is open to. + Culture fit and personality is very important. + Need to have at least been a staff accountant previously + No job hoppers + Construction industry experience is a plus, not a must.
