Job Description
Gail Technology is looking for a full time Director of Finance and Capital Markets. This position will manage finance function across GAIL Technology and its project SPVs. Lead capital raising, bank relationships, tax credit monetization, and the financial reporting that goes to lenders, investors, and the IRS. Core responsibilities Build and maintain project finance models for every active development (solar, self-storage, office, sports complex, datacenter), including DCF, IRR, leveraged returns, sensitivity, and downside scenarios. Own the capital stack for each project: construction debt, term debt, mezzanine, sponsor equity, LP equity, and tax credit monetization. Manage relationships with banks and direct lenders. Produce credit memos, capital request packages, and ongoing covenant reporting (borrowing-base, DSCR, leverage tests, construction draws).
Manage tax credit work:
ITC eligibility, transferability sales under IRA §6418, prevailing wage and apprenticeship documentation, energy community and domestic content adders, and coordination with tax credit insurance providers. Produce board and investor presentations (quarterly updates, capital raise decks, project-level investor memos). Run diligence on debt and equity raises end-to-end, including data room management. Lead annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting for the holding company and project portfolio. Manage outside auditors, lenders, tax counsel, and tax credit buyers. Required qualifications MBA from a recognized program OR 4-7 years in real estate/infrastructure/project-finance investment banking, lending, or principal investing. Demonstrated experience modeling project economics. Must be Excel-fluent at the level of building a model from scratch, not just maintaining one. Direct experience either negotiating with project lenders or sitting across the table from sponsors. Working knowledge of the IRA tax credit landscape: ITC, PTC, transferability, tax equity partnerships, energy community/domestic content, prevailing wage. Strong PowerPoint and written communication. Will be drafting credit memos, board decks, and investor updates.
Pay:
$150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
