Assistant Controller – Elkhart, IN (Fully Onsite)

Salary:

$100K–$120K + Bonus We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join a growing manufacturing organization in Elkhart, IN. This fully onsite role offers strong visibility within the organization and a clear succession path to VP of Finance within approximately two years for candidates open to relocation. Key Responsibilities Assist with oversight of daily accounting and finance operations Manage and participate in the full month-end close process, including financial reporting and reconciliations Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and operational performance metrics Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities Ensure accuracy of cost accounting and maintain strong internal controls Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to improve financial processes and reporting Assist in driving process improvements and operational efficiencies Qualifications 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment Experience managing full month-end close responsibilities Strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing cost details Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Self-starter with leadership potential and interest in long-term career growth Willingness to relocate in the future for advancement into a VP of Finance role This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging finance leader looking for long-term growth, mentorship, and executive-level career progression. #
