  • Team-oriented environment where your input matters What You'll Do Lead Financial Performance Serve as the on-site finance leader and trusted advisor to plant leadership Translate operational activity into clear financial insights and recommendations Analyze plant results against budget, forecast, and prior periods Drive Operational Efficiency Monitor key drivers including labor, materials, yield, and overhead Track and analyze KPIs such as throughput, labor efficiency, and yield Identify opportunities to improve cost performance and operational effectiveness Own Cost & Inventory Controls Lead inventory reconciliation, reporting, and cost analysis Maintain and enhance standard costing processes Review expired inventory and support lower of cost or market adjustments Analyze and explain key variances Lead Close & Reporting Own the monthly close process, including journal entries and reconciliations Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting aligned with corporate standards Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness Support Growth & Investment Evaluate financial impact of capital projects and plant initiatives Track capital spend from approval through implementation Oversee fixed assets and depreciation Improve Systems & Processes Identify and implement improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency Support ERP and reporting enhancements Partner cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience (manufacturing preferred) Strong background in cost accounting, inventory, and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems (Sage X3, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) Advanced Excel and data analysis skills Ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams Hands-on mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to: Sit or stand for extended periods of time; Use a computer, keyboard, and mouse regularly; Lift and carry light items (commonly 10-20 lbs, such as files, laptops, or office supplies); Read, interpret, and respond to written and digital information (documents, screens, reports); Communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and via email; Have normal or corrected vision and hearing sufficient for typical office tasks; Maintain focus and perform repetitive tasks.
