You'll be: Preparing an owning pieces of the monthly close Buildling and improving reporting processes Partnering with operational leaders Supporting likely acquitions, due dilligence, and integrations Leading continuous improvement initiatives Helping shape both effective and efficient internal controls as we grow Assisting with financial statement preparation and monthly close Supporting AR, AP, and general ledger processes Performing balance sheet reconciliations Managing system integrations (NetSuite / QuickBooks experience helpful) Overseeing multi-state sales tax and federal excise tax reporting Maintaining and track fixed assets Providing financial analysis to business leaders Supporting audits and compliance initiatives Driving process improvement projects What Makes You a Great Fit You are: A strong analytical thinker who digs into root causes Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable managing multiple priorities Direct, honest, and collaborative Flexible in a fast-changing environment Energized by ownership and accountability Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum of 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience Advanced Excel skills Public accounting experience is a plus What You Won't Find Anywhere Else A clearly defined path to Controller Direct involvement with likely acquisitions Ability to learn new tools and technology, including AI Lots of variety, including exposure to multiple operating companies Leadership who will work hard to ensure you have a reasonable workload Top-of-market compensation for the right candidate A team that works hard and genuinely enjoys working together A dog-friendly office (cats negotiable… maybe )
