Job Description
We're hiring an Assistant Controller. This is a unique opportunity for an accounting professional who wants more than a traditional finance role. You'll support a diverse portfolio that includes operating businesses, private investments, real estate, and complex entities, while working closely with senior leadership inside a company known for its strong culture and repeat Best Places to Work recognition. Experience with multi-entity accounting, cash flow management, and sophisticated financial structures is important. What You'll Do Manage full-cycle accounting across a portfolio of entities, including operating companies, investment entities, trusts, and real estate holdings Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities Oversee cash flow management and forecasting across the portfolio Track and account for private investment activity, including capital calls, distributions, and related reporting Support financial oversight of real estate assets and related entities Coordinate with outside tax advisors and other external financial partners outside of the main operating business Manage intercompany activity and maintain organization across complex entity structures Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and special projects for senior leadership What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA Preferred 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity, private investment, or high-complexity environment Experience with investment accounting, real estate accounting, trusts, or estate-related structures strongly preferred Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash flow management Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Discreet, professional, and experienced handling highly confidential financial information Why Join Us This role offers the chance to work on a broad and sophisticated portfolio while being part of a collaborative team inside a successful and growing company.
