Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Divisional Controller with experience in construction accounting. This critical role involves overseeing all financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting based on GAAP standards. You must understand accounting principles, financial analysis, and construction industry-specific regulations. A high level of integrity and ethics in handling confidential financial information is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Provide regular financial reports to partners and management highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends. Financial Operations Management
  • Oversee staff in the accounts payable and receivable functions. Manage the firm's billing process. Monitor cash flow. Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures. Supervision, leadership, and training of accounting personnel. Compliance and Audit
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and industry specific regulations. Coordinate and support external CPA firms. Maintain proper documentation and records to facilitate audits and financial reviews. Qualifications and Skills +5 years of accounting experience. Experience with Construction Accounting preferred.
