This role will own the integrity of financial reporting, drive process improvements, and build scalable infrastructure to support continued growth. What you'll do: Own and lead the full-cycle accounting function, including GL, AP, AR, payroll accounting, and financial reporting Drive an efficient and accurate month-end close, ensuring timely delivery of GAAP-compliant financials Deliver clear, actionable financial reporting and variance analysis to support executive decision-making Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, including short- and long-term planning (30/60/90+) Establish, strengthen, and enforce internal controls and accounting policies to mitigate risk Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability Partner cross-functionally with operations, HR, and leadership to align financial strategy with business goals Lead audit readiness and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax partners Oversee and optimize ERP/accounting systems to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy Build, mentor, and develop an accounting team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred) 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership in a Controller or senior accounting role Proven ability to own the close process and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Experience improving processes, implementing controls, and scaling accounting operations Track record of successfully leading audits and managing external relationships Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Dynamics, etc.) Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Why this role: High-visibility position with direct exposure to executive leadership Opportunity to build structure, influence strategy, and make a measurable impact Growth-oriented environment with strong long-term upside
