Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Corporate Controller in Sharpsville, Indiana. What you'll do from day one Oversees, leads, and directs the Company's general accounting and internal and external financial reporting functions for all business segments. The Corporate Controller role will be responsible for directing the overall accounting processes and strategy while applying generally accepted accounting principles and procedures to prepare accurate and timely financial statements for a multi-entity company. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and instilling financial rigor, instilling process discipline, and integrating and building scalable controls in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a qualified accounting leader, in a senior role, with experience leading and developing a team. Proven track record of centralizing and streamlining accounting processes, proactive internal controls, and key financial reporting that create recognized value to the organization. The impact you'll make Prepare all financial statements, related management discussion and analyses, and supporting documents for executive leadership and private equity partners. Oversee the month-end close processes including review of journal entries, second level review of monthly/quarterly reconciliations, and related supplemental schedules, ensuring timeliness of reports and analyses. Assist on project management of the annual budget process and assist in revising/implementing continued forecasting improvements when appropriate. Advise and implement iterative improvements in control environments to further mitigate and reduce error and/or fraud risk. Direct the General Accounting functions for all segments of the business. Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Ensure appropriate debt, tax, and insurance compliance requirements are met. Provide comprehensive financial updates and results to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate financial statements and key performance indicators. Lead system changes to improve current processes and implement new systems to create efficiencies within the accounting organization. Aid in the completion of external auditing requirements on an interim and annual basis. Proactively identify potential control gaps and aid in the design and implementation of business processes and controls. Prepare monthly business analysis, variance analysis, and internal financial reporting packages Lead cash management and cash forecasting function within the organization and streamline the process to gain efficiencies Support the functional finance diligence for M&A transactions as they occur and aid in the integration and centralizing of appropriate accounting functions Develop staff within departments overseeing for professional growth. Other duties as assigned.
