We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations and support the financial performance of the Company and its affiliates. This position is a hands-on leadership role that is responsible for maintaining accurate financial reporting, ability to manage the day-to-day accounting functions, and provide insight to support strategic decisions. This position will work directly with upper management. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all accounting functions, including AP, AR, and payroll Oversee job costing, AIA billing, subcontract tracking, and WIP reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement packets for the Company and its affiliates Monitor and manage weekly cash flow Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Ensure compliance with federal and state tax filings (1099s, sales and use tax, etc.) Coordinate with external accountants and advisors Oversee insurance programs, including renewals and certificates of insurance Serve as a key contact for vendors, customers, IT providers, and insurance carriers Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff Education and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, required Active CPA, preferred Minimum of 5 years of extensive accounting experience Construction accounting experience including job costing, preparation of WIP schedules, preferred Public accounting experience, preferred Experience managing and supervising other accounting staff Benefits Competitive Salary based on experience level and qualifications Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 401(K) Plan with Company Match Paid Time Off Health, Dental, Life, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability Insurance Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account Annual Bonus Apply Today If you're a driven accounting professional ready to take ownership of a key leadership role, we encourage you to apply.
