• Responsibilities Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules Handle general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations Assist with cash receipts, disbursements, AP, and payroll functions Coordinate annual audits and prepare audit support schedules Support state, federal, and grant reporting requirements Assist with fund accounting and restricted fund tracking Participate in ERP/system implementation initiatives Work cross-functionally with departments across the organization Assist leadership with budgeting and financial reporting processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience required Experience with computerized accounting systems Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting Fund accounting, nonprofit, government, or higher education accounting experience preferred Audit coordination experience highly preferred ERP implementation exposure is a plus Strong Excel and systems skills Collaborative and team-oriented mindset A bit about us:•We are partnering with a well-established educational institution seeking a hands-on Controller to join their finance team.
