The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction accounting, including expertise in work-in-progress and percentage-of-completion methods. This role is an excellent opportunity to oversee comprehensive financial processes and contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial statements in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Utilize work-in-progress and percentage-of-completion accounting methods to track and report project performance. Collaborate with project managers to analyze financial data and provide insights into project budgets and forecasts. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain compliance. Review and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency across all accounts. Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff to support their growth and attention to detail. Monitor cash flow and manage financial planning to support business operations. Work closely with external auditors during financial reviews and audits. Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with a focus on the construction industry. Proficiency in work-in-progress and percentage-of-completion accounting methods. Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel. Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team.
