Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our finance team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the company's Payroll and HR functions ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial activities. Duties Perform Accounts Payable functions Process multiple payrolls each month Manage HR functions of the organization Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance Assist in the implementation of account policies and procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations Support month-end and year end close processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting standards. Proficiency in ADP payroll software and SAGE Intacct Accounting software a plus Excellent leadership skills with experience mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment; ability to foster professional development within the department. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Other duties as assigned
