This position will oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal financial processes across multiple operational divisions within the oil & gas industry. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong leadership skills, and can help drive operational efficiency while maintaining financial accuracy and integrity. Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including: Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Payroll General Ledger Bank Reconciliations Fixed Assets Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Manage month-end and year-end close processes Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasting Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and company financial policies Coordinate with external CPA firms, auditors, and tax professionals Develop and improve internal accounting controls and procedures Assist executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic planning Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations Support operational teams with cost tracking and reporting Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with all financial records Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 5+ years of accounting or financial management experience Prior Controller or senior-level accounting experience preferred Oil & gas, industrial, manufacturing, or service industry experience is a plus Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong communication and leadership abilities What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) Paid time off and holidays Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company Team-oriented and fast-paced work environment
