Robert Half Controller Avon, MA Apply Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Avon, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the solar industry, who is detail oriented and seeking an opportunity to contribute their expertise to support organizational goals. The position offers a hands-on role in overseeing and managing financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all financial operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Develop and implement effective document control systems for financial records.
- Organize and scan financial documents for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Compile and maintain comprehensive documentation to support audits and financial reviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial workflows and processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive financial information and maintain confidentiality.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Support the organization's financial planning and budgeting efforts. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Controller, preferably within the solar industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in document control, scanning, and organizing financial records.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Familiarity with financial software and tools to streamline processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
