$110,000 – $150,000 + bonus potential

Controller Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all accounting and financial operations including general ledger, consolidations, and reporting
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Produce monthly financial reports and ad hoc analyses for leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage and develop the finance team, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Support annual budgeting process and partner with internal teams on program budgets and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and state/federal regulations
  • Oversee audits, including annual audit and Form 990 preparation
  • Review and approve expenditures, ensuring proper documentation and compliance standards
Controller Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
  • Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting and close processes
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing finance teams
  • Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with strong attention to detail
