Controller

Description We are looking for an experienced and strategic Controller to join our client in Brockton, Massachusetts (occasional travel to Nashua, NH). This role leads key financial operations—reporting, payroll, AR, cash flow, audits, and controls—while serving as a strategic partner to senior leadership. Ideal candidates bring hands‑on operational strength along with strategic financial planning and banking relationship expertise.

Responsibilities:

+ Financial Accuracy and Reporting Excellence + Cash Flow, Liquidity and Balance Sheet Stewardship + Financial Planning and Annual Budget Execution + Strategic Partnership with CEO, President, and Banking Partners + Leadership and Development Requirements Required Qualifications + Strong GAAP and accounting leadership background with strategic finance experience + Experience in operational or AR-intensive businesses, preferably in service industries + Proven cash flow and working capital management capability with strategic financial planning experience + Experience with managing banking relationships and credit facilities + Multi-entity experiences preferred + Proficiency with Sage (required) + CPA or CMA strongly preferred + Demonstrated leadership and accountability for results + Strategic thinking with ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights + Experience in family-owned or multi-generational businesses preferred Major Keys + CPA + Auditing + Tech Experience Including Microsoft Word, Excel Etc. + Comfortable working with a high-level team + Industry- Distribution, Manufacturing, Production Interested?
