The Vice President, Investor Relations will lead Azenta's global investor relations strategy and serve as the primary interface between the company, the investment community, and the Board of Directors. This role will partner closely with the CEO, CFO, senior leadership team, and the Board to clearly articulate Azenta's strategy, performance, and long-term value creation, while ensuring consistent, credible, and transparent communication with external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with Azenta's business objectives and capital markets positioning Establish and oversee effective investor relations governance, processes, and external partners as appropriate Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, sell side analysts, and potential shareholders on all investor relations matters Prepare and oversee quarterly earnings materials, including earnings scripts, presentations, press releases, and Q and A preparation Partner with the CEO and CFO on earnings calls, investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows, anticipating investor and analyst questions, themes, and concerns to ensure leadership is well prepared and communication is proactive, consistent, and aligned Continuously monitor the external environment, including investor sentiment, analyst perspectives, peer performance, and relevant capital markets dynamics and propose mitigation strategies to proactively address related challenges Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership and, as appropriate, to the Board regarding shareholder base evolution, analyst coverage, and capital markets trends Lead the development of clear, disciplined, and consistent messaging regarding company strategy, financial performance, capital allocation, and growth initiatives Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, and other relevant functions to ensure accurate, complaint, and timely communication and external disclosures Support the CEO, CFO, and, as required, the Board on investor relations, shareholder engagement, and capital markets activities Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required. MBA, CFA, CPA, or similar advanced credential preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance, with significant public company exposure Experience in life sciences, healthcare, biotech, or technology enabled services strongly preferred Skills and Competencies:
Deep understanding of capital markets, investor expectations, financial analysis, and valuation drivers Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and strategic topics into clear, credible, and compelling messages for investors and the Board Strong ability to anticipate external perspectives, investor sentiment, and analyst priorities, and translate them into effective preparation and proactive messaging High credibility with investors, analysts, senior executives, and Board members, with a professional and confident executive presence Sound judgment and discretion, with the ability to operate effectively in sensitive and high visibility situations Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across functions, senior leadership, and governance bodies Ability to work independently with limited resources while effectively balancing strategic thinking and hands on execution EOE M/F/Disabled/VET If any applicant is unable to complete an application or respond to a job opening because of a disability, please email at Recruiting@azenta.com for assistance. United States Base Compensation:
$248,000.00 - $310,000.00 The posted pay range for this position is an estimate based on current market data and internal pay structure. Final compensation may vary above or below this range depending on factors such as experience, education (including licensure and certifications), qualifications, performance, and geographic location, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
