Controller

We are looking for a hands-on Controller to support financial operations for a manufacturing environment. This long-term to permanent position will oversee core accounting activities, provide forward-looking financial insight, and help leadership make informed business decisions. The role is well suited for a finance specialist who is comfortable balancing day-to-day accounting accuracy with planning, reporting, and manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and record journal entries to maintain accurate and timely financial records.
• Develop sales and cash forecasts to support planning, budgeting, and operational decision-making.
• Monitor borrowing activity and assist with the management of operational banking and loan-related matters.
• Perform variance reviews to identify performance trends, explain financial results, and highlight risks or opportunities.
• Produce monthly financial statements and related reports for leadership review.
• Support cost accounting activities within a manufacturing setting, including analysis tied to operations and production.
• Coordinate materials and schedules for the annual external audit and respond to auditor requests.
• Contribute financial analysis that supports sales and operations planning across the business.
