Job Description:
Our client in Needham, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Plant Controller for an 8-month contract opportunity. This is an on-site role supporting plant operations, financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and internal controls. The Plant Controller will partner closely with operations leadership to provide financial insight, improve performance, and support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee plant financial activities including month-end close, forecasting, and budgetingAnalyze manufacturing costs, inventory, labor, and overhead variancesPartner with plant leadership to monitor financial performance and identify improvement opportunitiesPrepare and present financial reports, KPIs, and operational analysisMaintain and strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with company policiesSupport inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventory processesAssist with annual planning and ad hoc financial analysis projectsDrive process improvements across finance and plant operations
