Rizzo@roberthalf.c0m The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely insights to support decision-making. This role requires both hands-on execution and the ability to improve processes in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and inventory accounting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Lead the month-end and year-end close processes Maintain and improve cost accounting systems, including standard costing and variance analysis Analyze manufacturing costs, margins, and operational performance Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial controls Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other partners Identify and implement process improvements, including ERP and reporting enhancements Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff (if applicable) Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred) 12+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in manufacturing Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities Ability to work independently and adapt in a small-company environment Willingness to be hands on Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills with both financial and non-financial stakeholders Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
