Vice President of Business Development (2026-0151)

We are seeking a Vice President of Business Development with an active TS/SCI clearance to join our team in Hanover, MD, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Business Development. This is a key leadership role driving growth within a respected, employeeowned, missionfocused organization.
In this role, you will:
Lead and support teaming discussions, strategy development, solutioning sessions, and storyboard/annotated outline creationDevelop detailed capture plans that translate customer needs into compelling, differentiated solution elementsBuild a comprehensive picture of the competitive landscape, including direct engagement with potential partners and competitorsMentor and train personnel involved in proposal development-writers, SMEs, consultants, and supporting staff-providing hands-on guidanceContribute directly to solution development throughout active proposal effortsServe as proposal manager for highvisibility or strategic opportunities, ensuring clear strategy, strong execution, and compelling responses

The pay range for this position is $220,000 to $250,000EQUAL

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Writing, Journalism, Political Science, or a technical discipline10+ years of proposal or capture experience, including 2+ years developing or supporting technical solutionsActive TS/SCI clearance strongly preferred; customer badge access desiredAbility to work nonstandard and extended hours as neededStrong communication skills with the ability to facilitate group solution sessionsDemonstrated problemsolving ability and a proactive, cando mindsetShipley Capture Certification or equivalent strongly preferredPay Range:
