Job Description:
Position Overview This role will oversee all financial operations, support company growth, and help guide key business decisions. The VP of Finance will work closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights, improve processes, and ensure strong financial performance. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Advise the CEO/President on financial decisions Develop financial plans to support company growth Lead and manage the finance and accounting team Financial Planning & Analysis Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning Track performance and provide insights for improvement Oversee cash flow and spending strategies Accounting & Reporting Ensure accurate and timely financial reports Oversee accounting processes and financial statements Maintain compliance with financial regulations (GAAP) Operations & Systems Improve financial systems and processes Lead ERP system improvements/implementations Work with other departments to increase efficiency and profit Industry Responsibilities (Construction/Real Estate) Oversee job costing and project financials Track project profitability and progress (WIP) Support construction and development financials Risk & Compliance Maintain internal controls and manage risk Ensure tax, audit, and regulatory compliance Work with auditors, banks, and financial partners Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred) 10+ years of finance or accounting leadership experience Experience in a senior finance role (VP, Controller, etc.) Strong knowledge of financial reporting and forecasting Experience with ERP systems Construction or real estate experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
