An established and rapidly growing professional services organization is seeking an experienced Controller to take ownership of the finance function and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible role where your insights, leadership, and process improvement expertise will directly shape the future of the organization. What You'll Do As the Controller, you'll be the financial backbone of the organization, leading accounting operations while helping drive strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Financial Reporting Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements by profit center Deliver meaningful financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making Develop sophisticated Excel-based models, dashboards, and reporting tools Identify opportunities for automation and streamline existing financial processes Own the annual budget, forecasting process, and variance analysis Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls Partner closely with senior leadership to support growth initiatives and enhance operational performance What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 10+ years of Controller experience within a mid-market organization Proven success preparing and analyzing financial statements by profit center Advanced Excel expertise, including financial modeling and reporting Strong track record of implementing automation and process improvements Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications CPA or equivalent professional certification ERP implementation or system conversion experience Background supporting growth-oriented or multi-entity organizations Why This Opportunity Stands Out Competitive base salary of $130,000–$145,000 Sign-on bonus and performance-based incentive opportunities High visibility with executive leadership Opportunity to modernize systems and drive meaningful change Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where ideas are welcomed Stable organization with exciting growth initiatives underway Ability to make a lasting impact on both financial strategy and operational performance If you're a forward-thinking finance leader who enjoys improving processes, leveraging technology, and helping businesses scale, we'd love to confidentially connect and share more about this exceptional opportunity. #LI-BK1 #
