Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and ensure fiscal responsibility based at our Bangor Maine Hospital. The Finance Director is responsible for the oversight and direction of the Finance Department; directly managing the activities of the Accounting staff. In addition to managing the day to day activities of the Finance Department, this position works to insure adequate internal controls, policies and procedures are being followed. The Finance Director works closely with the Controller to accurately and efficiently prepare and analyze financial statements for month-end and year-end closing. The position facilitates, prepares and analyzes financial information for the completion of operational budgets for the hospital and affiliate entities. The Finance Director coordinates, prepares and serves as primary contact for interim and year-end audits. Financial analysis, cash manage, fixed assets and contract management are requirements of the position. Oversees third party audits and surveys including various other analysis as necessary.
