Plant Controller

We are partnering with a high-growth manufacturing organization seeking a Multi-Site Plant Controller to lead financial operations across multiple production facilities. This is a highly visible Plant Controller role responsible for driving cost accuracy, operational performance, and financial transparency across the plant network.

This leader will serve as a true business partner to Operations—owning plant-level financials while influencing strategic decisions that improve efficiency, margins, and scalability.

Plant Controller Key ResponsibilitiesOwn full P&L responsibility across multiple manufacturing sitesLead and develop plant accounting teamsDrive consistency in financial processes, reporting, and controls across all locationsPartner with Plant Managers and Operations leadership to improve plant performance and profitabilityAnalyze and report on key manufacturing metrics, including: PPV (Purchase Price Variance) Labor and overhead absorption Standard vs. actual costing Scrap, yield, and efficiency metricsOversee monthly close process for all plants, ensuring accuracy and timelinessLead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for plant operationsIdentify cost savings opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiativesSupport capital investment decisions through ROI and payback analysisEnsure strong internal controls and compliance with company policiesCollaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Corporate FinanceFor immediate consideration call Jimmy Tunney at 517-657-8054
