Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Controller to support a growing organization in Kentwood, Michigan through a Long-term Contract engagement. This role will oversee core accounting leadership activities, strengthen financial controls, and provide guidance during acquisition-related integration work. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in controllership, hands-on experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks Desktop, and the ability to manage complex financial environments with accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Support acquisition and post-acquisition integration efforts by aligning financial processes, reporting structures, and accounting practices across entities.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate financial impacts related to acquisitions and provide clear reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
- Manage and optimize NetSuite usage, including coordination of system enhancements, reporting improvements, and development-related support where needed.
- Maintain and leverage QuickBooks Desktop knowledge to review legacy records, validate data, and assist with financial continuity across systems and entities.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within accounting operations and implement practical solutions that increase efficiency and strengthen compliance.
