If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Wyoming seeking Controllers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations, including General Ledger, AP, AR, and payroll. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, providing insights to management. Lead the annual audit process, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment CPA certification highly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles Proven experience with ERP systems implementation and optimization Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations Bonus Qualifications Additional certifications or training Job Titles That Should Apply Controller, Financial Controller, VP Finance, Director of Finance, Head of Finance, Chief Accounting Officer, CAO, Corporate Controller, Assistant Controller, Finance Director Why The Pivot Group Network The Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
