Job Description
Controller wanted in Holland, Michigan to prepare financial reports and ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting; perform regular analysis of book and ledgers to ensure accuracy; participate in the capital process to ensure proper evaluation and presentation of capital needs and compliance with approved budget; oversee end-of-year change over; oversee and maintain program analysis; prepare audit schedules and necessary support; assist with budget preparation and maintain fixed assets; compile composite reports as required by management or government agencies; oversee monthly closing of financial books; prepare weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts; adhere to all healthy and safety rules and policies in the workplace, as well as Magna policies, procedures, work instructions, and standards; oversee all division financial and accounting functions to include general ledger, financial planning, budgeting, capital investments, accounts payable and receivable, management information systems, cost accounting, etc. for an automotive components manufacturer; prepare reporting systems for other departments' budget; prepare all required Division financial information on a monthly and annual basis; prepare Division Business Plan; and ensure inventories are conducted as required. Make recommendations for continuous improvement and perform other duties as assigned.
