Job Description

The Controller will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company. This individual will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, improving processes, and supporting continued portfolio expansion. Real Estate experience is REQUIRED.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reportingPrepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsLead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning processesDesign, implement, and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and proceduresManage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital planning activitiesProvide strategic financial insight to support acquisitions, renovations, and growth initiativesEnsure compliance with GAAP and all applicable regulatory requirementsPartner closely with property management and operational teams to drive financial performanceSupervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
