Full-Time | Hybrid Position Overview We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Controller with a strong background in manufacturing to lead our accounting and financial operations. This role will partner closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, improve processes, and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cost accounting, financial reporting, and team leadership within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Strategy Oversee all financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Provide accurate, timely financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership Support strategic planning and long-term business objectives Accounting Operations Lead day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, general ledger, and cost accounting Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Deliver variance analysis and actionable insights to leadership Translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process across departments Monitor performance against budget and provide ongoing forecasts Identify risks and opportunities through financial modeling Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance Manage cost accounting systems, including inventory valuation and overhead allocation Analyze product costs and manufacturing efficiency Identify cost-saving initiatives and margin improvement opportunities Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies Lead external audit processes and coordinate with auditors Strengthen internal controls to mitigate risk and protect company assets Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented environment Drive performance management and professional development Process Improvement Evaluate and improve financial systems and workflows Implement best practices and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5+ years of experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role Strong manufacturing industry experience required Deep knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $150,000 + bonus opportunity 401(k) plan 5 weeks of paid time off (PTO) Comprehensive benefits package Hybrid work flexibility Growth and advancement opportunities #
