If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Grand Haven seeking experienced Controllers. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations, including General Ledger, AP, AR, and payroll. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports on profitability, trends, and forecasts to management. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations and reporting requirements. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365). Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
