Timely and accurate execution of these responsibilities is essential to the business, supporting effective cash flow management, reliable financial reporting, accurate job cost analysis, and the overall smooth operation of the company. This position is integral to both the Accounting and Human Resources departments, as well as the organization as a whole. All positions within the Accounting and Human Resources departments are expected to deliver a high level of service to employees, customers, vendors, subcontractors, financial institutions, insurance companies, and other stakeholders. Providing excellent external service includes promptly addressing and resolving issues and ensuring efficient turnaround times. Internally, excellent service involves responding quickly to requests related to job responsibilities and effectively communicating relevant information to colleagues across the organization..
General task/function overview:
Payables Receivables (multi-type, including AIA) Payroll and associated reporting (internal, external, government) Certified payroll Prevailing wages Union fringe reporting and maintenance Waivers Sworn Statements Collections Small claims case filings Lien filings and releases Check runs Cash posting Reconciliations Report creation (primarily Excel) Purchase orders Subcontracts Process review for continuous improvement Insurance maintenance
