Controller

A great UHY client is seeking a Controller to lead financial operations and support continued business expansion. This is a hands-on role responsible for overseeing full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and driving key initiatives including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling. The position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The Controller role is an on-site position based in Troy, MI. This is a permanent, client direct hire opportunity. Controller Responsibilities Lead full-cycle accounting and GAAP-based financial reporting Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling Prepare financial insights and presentations for executive leadership Oversee accounting operations including month-end close Partner with leadership to support strategic growth initiatives Support process improvements across financial systems and reporting Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a service-based environment Controller Requirements Experience at the Accounting Manager or Controller level Background in a service-based organization (software experience a plus) Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting QuickBooks Online experience preferred CPA or CMA is a plus but not required Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a hands-on role•UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
