Job Description

Role Overview We are seeking an executive level Financial Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations. This is a senior role responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic oversight as the company scales. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced accounting professional with a CPA or CMA designation preferred, capable of operating at a strategic level while managing day to day accounting activities. This role will partner directly with the CEO to provide insights that drive business decisions. You will own the company's financial integrity and reporting, ensuring world class accounting practices while advising on strategic business initiatives. You will manage all accounting functions, provide executive insights, and implement scalable financial systems to support our fast growing operations. Key Responsibilities Serve as the highest level accounting executive, managing the company's full accounting cycle and financial reporting. Produce accurate, timely, and insightful financial statements and executive reports for the CEO. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and all relevant financial reporting standards. Partner with the CEO to provide strategic financial guidance, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management. Identify process improvements, optimize accounting systems, and implement controls to scale operations efficiently. Mentor and lead the accounting team, cultivating a high performance culture. Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to guide business decisions. Qualifications CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in e-commerce, manufacturing, or fast scaling companies. Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, and corporate finance. Proven ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insights for executive leadership. Executive presence with strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Experience implementing scalable accounting processes and systems. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment while maintaining precision and attention to detail.
