Assistant Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support our accounting department. This role will work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and support strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing day-to-day accounting operations Prepare and review financial statements and reports and reconciliations Support month-end and year-end close processes Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies Assist with budgeting and forecasting Assist with external auditor's requests Analyze financial data and provide insights for leadership Mentor co-workers in the department

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 3-5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or manufacturing environment) Strong knowledge of GAAP Experience with accounting software (e.g., D365, SAP, ERP, etc.) Analytical Skills with attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Excel (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, building/following formulas) • Experience in GL account reconciliations with proper documentation

Preferred Skills:

CPA or Master's in Accounting candidate preferred Assisted in an ERP implementation process Proven ability in automating/improving work processes Good communication skills within the department and with external departments Have a proactive problem solver mindset

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
