Accounting Manager Compensation:
$75,000 - $100,000+ per year based on experience A growing automotive group is seeking an experienced Automotive Assistant Controller / Accounting Manager to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dealership accounting professional looking to take the next step in their career with a growing organization. The ideal candidate will have automotive accounting experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end and year-end financial statement preparation Maintain and reconcile accounting schedules and general ledger accounts Review and process dealership transactions for accuracy Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory accounting Assist with payroll and commission processing Reconcile floorplan and vehicle inventory accounts Maintain manufacturer receivables and warranty schedules Support internal controls and accounting process improvements Assist with audits and financial reporting requirements Work closely with dealership leadership on financial analysis and operational reporting
Qualifications:
Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred Experience with Dealertrack, CDK, or similar dealership management systems strongly preferred Strong understanding of dealership accounting and financial statements Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong Microsoft Excel skills High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
