Director of Finance

Job Duties Lead all accounting and financial operations for a multi-state hospitality portfolio. Develop annual budgets, forecasts, capital plans, and financial strategies that support company objectives. Provide financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations to executive leadership and ownership groups. Partner with hotel leaders to improve profitability, manage expenses, and achieve revenue goals. Oversee monthly financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow management, and financial controls. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and operational reporting. Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure business performance and identify trends. Oversee internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and tax requirements. Evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and reporting tools to increase efficiency and accuracy. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting and finance professionals. Support acquisitions, new developments, and other strategic growth initiatives as needed. Foster strong working relationships with operations, sales, revenue management, and executive leadership teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Seven or more years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience. Experience managing financial operations across multiple locations or business units. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and internal controls. Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing teams. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Hospitality, hotel, or lodging industry experience. Experience supporting multi-state operations. MBA or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Experience working with ownership groups, asset managers, and management agreements. Knowledge of hotel accounting systems, revenue management, and food and beverage operations.
