Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close Lead the financial close process ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance Prepare and review financial statements and internal reporting packages Develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support leadership decision-making Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners Ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirements Mentor and develop accounting staff, building a strong, scalable team Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred) 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility Experience in [industry - customize if needed] is a plus Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally .
